I'm using a 16" snap on a satin ribbon. When I press it, taking the rubber tip off the tool, it flatten the pointed snap really well, , but it falls off after being snapped together. If I don't flatten the pointed tip, with the rubbe tip on the tool, the snaps wont close. What am I doing wrong? thank you

can you share the measurements of the dies so that I can see if my existing dies will work with the machine? And if you can measure the thread pitch on the screw in dies that would be helpful. Thank you

Will this work on crocheted fabric, or is there a chance I’ll cut the yarn?

I wish there was one simple standard instead of four. I also wish someone made a Systainer with all the different dies in convenient little boxes with a little piece of fabric/leather with the type of fastener the die works for, and a bunch of compartments for the actual fasteners.

Will this work for grommets and metal snaps, too?

Is the die used for metal snaps the same for plastic snaps? What about plastic open ring snaps--is there a special tool just for those?

Mine are punching right through. Followed all the steps and the long part is going right through the metal when applying the pressure.is this normal?

Thank you. I was so frustrated and thought my grip is not strong enough to squeeze the plier. Watched many video on how to use and each one made it look so simple and easy. Was searching why the kam snaps won’t fit and found this video. So glad I found you. Thank you so much!
